Worm Extract, Compost Extract The future in organic soil improvers.
I have been watching the development of compost extracts and worm extract overseas for a number of years now, and I believe that this is where the future lies with liquid organic soil improvers and fertilisers. For use in the agriculture and home gardening markets in an easy to use liquid form that has a short storage time of up to a couple of months. This allows for transport time for agriculture application.
Our own compost extractor We have now developed our own liquid compost extracting technology that has undergone onsite testing and development over the last 36 months with very promising results on turf and garden applications. We are currently doing trials on agricultural applications and the future looks exceptionally good for this new application.
Our Own Compost Extracts, Worm Extracts We are now able to extract the goodness out of compost and worm cast into a liquid form, this includes all the soluble nutrients and micro-organisms that the compost contained. We only use very high grade worm cast or compost because you can only extract what is in your compost if you use low grade composts you will only have low quality extracts, We have our worm cast independently tested by the Soil Food Institute so that we know we have very high grade extracts. The micro-organisms that are extracted are in a non active resting state and will remain this way until application time or feeding.
Worm castings we extract from When we first started to produce our liquid worm extract, vermi extract we had trouble finding high quality worm cast suitable for producing worm extract, vermi extract or worm teas. So we now produce our own worm cast that is produced after feeding our compost worms a custom mixture of organic feed stock. This produces a huge bio-diverse mixture of micro organisms and fungi with micro nutrients and trace elements all contained in our worm cast. We have our worm cast independently tested so that we know the organisms are in the worm cast for extraction in to our worm extract and teas. We have invested a large amount of time and money to perfect this feeding program so that we can produce a superior product at a cost efficient price consistently time after time.
Application of Compost Extract, Worm Extract. We have found with lots of on site testing the best benefit from our extract is when used as a soil drench product and we feed the organisms at application time with whatever organic foods your soil requires. Once our extract is applied the biological component then becomes active and starts colonises your soil, plants or crop and starts rebuilding you soil and plant health. The nutrients are in a plant available form our extracts are easily applied with spray equipment boom sprays, boom less nozzles or hose but we recommend the use of a diaphragm pump.
Our Main Benefit One of the main benefits is being able to store the liquid organic worm extract, compost extract for up to a few months before application. This allows time to transport extract to farms for application. This is the main down side of aerated worm teas, as they must be used within four hours of brew aeration finishing.
If you wish to produce an Actively Aerated Compost Tea you can put our worm extract in a brewer with a food source and aerate, and the micro-organisms will multiply for use as a Actively Aerated Compost Tea.
Storage We have stored our extracts for up to 3 months before application, during on site testing with excellent results, storage time is to be tested at the Soil Food Institute, to see what effect storage has on the biology in our compost and worm extracts.

Worm extract can be used on gardens and crops as an organic soil improver. By applying our liquid worm extract, vermi extract on to your leaf and soil surfaces you are re-establishing the micro organisms and biology that chemical fertilisers have killed off. The plant leaf surfaces and root system are also protected from disease by the beneficial organisms that we are applying.
