Great to see and totally agree. Girls are able to, and should be allowed to, do anything that a boy of the same age can do. I'm bringing up my daughter the same way as I don't want anyone to be able to tell her that she can't do a certain thing just because she's a girl as she grows up.

Sunday 2nd Jan 2011. (9 - 12md). What a great day to make paper pots & seed up for the new growing season with a lovely group of close to 30 Community Gardeners including Joan Park, Nerang, Ashmore & Labrador. They all showed up with contributions of materials, seeds, cuttings & lots of plates of food to share. Greg, Kristel & Eden Plevey from WORMTEC were very welcome guests. Always good value & entertaining, Greg gave us a very interesting talk on his products & their use, answered lots of questions about the SWAG & worms, and very kindly donated several COIR Products to enhance water retention & distribution, bulk up materials used in the planting or composting processes.
I am an avid user of WORMTEC products so you are preaching to the converted.
For those visitors today who have the old-fashioned style of Worm Farm, (with the trays & the lifting & the sorting & the bending), I 'm sure the SWAG is now on their List of MUST-HAVE'S.
After the prolonged wet where most of my plants have carked it (as in drowned), my new supply of Shreddded Horse Poo, Mushroom Compost & Crushed RockMinerals, along with my Compost heap, is just waiting for me to get organised to rebuild the garden to its former glory.
I must make sure to take some pics when it's done - the vegetable & herb quality, size, flavour & resistance to infestation will be mostly attributable to the benefits of WORMTEC and my Compost mix coming a close second.
Thank you once again WORMTEC for your knowledge & skill sets which benefits all the Community Gardeners on the Coast.
